Questions
Is it free? Does it use a lot of data?
Yes it's free, and it uses less data than opening the site in a browser, because the app keeps the design on your phone and only loads new posts.
I don't see "Install app" or "Add to Home Screen"
You're probably not in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone). Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok open links in their own mini browser, which can't install apps. Open africa.red in Chrome or Safari and try again.
How do I turn on notifications?
Open the app from your home screen, go to Settings and tap Turn on under Notifications. On iPhone this works only from the home-screen icon.
How do I remove it?
Like any app: hold the icon and choose Remove or Uninstall. Your account stays.
